Pokemon Brock: the thread!!

Hi!

This thread is for everybody to talk about Brock, his habits, his obsessions, his pokemon and even his looks.
It is for just typing your thoughts on everybodys favourite pokemon breeder. So, dig in.

I know a brock fan on this site so it's great that you made this thread. :)

Anyways, I like the fact that Brock was once a gym leader has been loyal to Ash throughout his journies. It would be cool to see him go back to his gym for one of the anime episodes like he did during the Battle Frontier. And I also like the fact that he is a Pokemon breeder- I always like the Pokemon has catches. He doesn't catch Pokemon in excessive amounts like Ash, but is more restrained, and catches Pokemon he truly likes rather than focusing himself on his Pokedex. He is not one to blurt out that he wants to catch a Pokemon before anyone else; He usually keeps Pokemon that grow to like him because he is so kind to them. He is usually calm, but when ever he sees Nurse Joy or Officer Jenny, he tends not to act that way. I'm glad Brock's in the anime, because he's smart, cool, and collected yet crazy and comical. :p

Those Brock pictures are hilarious! I think though they're either degrading the importance of him, or just using him as general keys to a plot. Honestly, that's getting a bit old. Every show that Brock plays a part in generally goes: Brock meets woman; woman has a problem; gang tries to solve the problem. Another item I would like to bring up is, what's the deal with his mom? In the episode where Brock is first introduced, Flint states that his mom either died or left them (I'm not sure which) so how did she come back? Not only that, but how can the children, still except her after she left?

Brock does have a somewhat odd family. His father is too ashamed to see his family because he failed becoming a Pokemon Master, his mom is compulsive and distracted, and Brock has to deal with all of his brothers and sisters alone, and also carry the position as a gym leader. I wonder how his family could function during his absence all of this time with Ash and the gang. Forest, the second oldest sibling, could not take on all of the work because he is still young himself. :)

This was 4Kids fault.
In the Japanese dub, they said that she left, while in the American dub, Flint told Ash that Brock's mum had died.
But I'm not sure why she left in the first place. =/

Wait? She did? Wow, I didn't know that. Or maybe the person I had thought was Brock's mom isn't really Brock's mom at all. I'm confused. Isn't she the woman who talks real peppy? :)

Brock his a hyped guy. He can tell the differences between Jenny's and Joy's by their small features, such as their eyelashes.

And if he is trying to become a Pokebreeder, why doesn't he work a day care?

Yes, she is, she's also the one who wanted to change what type of gym pewter had. And the reason he doesn't want to work in a day care is, that while traveling around and catching and raising different kinds of pokemon, he gets a lot of experience with breeding. So he travels with Ash to raise all kinds of pokemon... and pick up the honeys. :D

Lol, yeah, I remember that episode when she was totally revamping the gym. Brock's family is kind of odd, but it makes the whole anime expirience one step better. :p
