Blastoise/Keldeo deck

Flys Gone 2071

Also known as Flygon2071
Member
With Freeze Bolt/Cold Flare coming I decided to do this deck:

Pokemon 14:
3-1-3 Blastoise
3 Keldeo EX
2 Mewtwo EX
2 Kyurem NVI

Trainers 34:
3 Rare Candies
4 Catcher
3 Tool Scrapper
3 Ultra Ball
1 Computer Search
4 SSU
1 Super rod
4 Energy Retrieval
2 Juniper
4 N
3 Skyla
2 Cilan

Energies 12:
12 W

Strategy:
Accelerate many water energies into Keldeo with Blastoise.
Translations:

Squirtle - Water - HP60
Basic Pokemon

Ability: Shell Shield
As long as this Pokemon is on the Bench, it takes no damage from attacks.

[W][C] Water Spray: 10 damage. Flip a coin, if heads this attack does an additional 20 damage.

Weakness: Grass (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Wartortle - Water - HP80
Stage 1 - Evolves from Squirtle

[C] Withdraw: Flip a coin, if heads this Pokemon takes no damage from attacks during your opponent’s next turn.
[W][W][C] Waterfall: 60 damage.

Weakness: Grass (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Blastoise - Water - HP140
Stage 1 - Evolves from Wartortle

Ability: Rain Dance.
As often as you like during your turn (before your attack), you may attach 1 [W] Energy card to 1 of your Pokemon. (This doesn’t use up your 1 Energy card attachment for the turn.)

[C][C][C][C] Hydro Pump: 60+ damage. This attack does 10 more damage for each [W] Energy attached to this Pokemon.

Weakness: Grass (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 4

Keldeo-EX - Water - HP170
Basic Pokemon

Ability: Step In
Once during your turn (before you attack), if Keldeo-EX is your Bench, you may switch it with your Active Pokemon.

[C][C][C] Secret Sword: 50+ damage. This attack does 20 more damage for each [W] energy attached to this Pokemon.

Weakness: Grass (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Bicycle - Trainer
Item

Draw cards until you have 4 cards in your hand.

You can use any number of Item cards during your turn.

Skyla - Trainer
Supporter

Search your deck for a Trainer card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn (before your attack).

Computer Search - Trainer
Item

Discard two cards. Search your deck for any one card and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterwards.

ACE SPEC: You can’t have more than 1 ACE SPEC card in your deck.

You can use any number of Item cards during your turn.

I wouldn't use Jellicent, but here is my list for this deck.

Keldeo/Blastoise

Pokemon 10

3-1-3 Blastoise
3 Keldeo

Trainers 36
3 Rare Candy
4 Bicycle
4 Ultra Ball
3 Cheren
4 N
4 Bianca
3 Skyla
1 Computer Search
4 SSU
4 Energy Retrieval

Energy 14
14 Water

Thanks for the advice. I just made a bit of changes but I left Jellicent. I'm going to change it later maybe for more retrieval/supporters or escape rope (gives me an extra catcher and switch at the same time and with Keldeo's ability there is no problem).

I would max SSU because that is a max potion for Keldeo with no drawback except the flipiness

Pokemons: 13

4 Squirtle
1 Wartortle
4 Blastoise
3 Keldeo EX
1 Mewtwo EX

Trainers/ Supporters/ Stadiums: 35

1 Computer Search
1 Super Rod
2 Energy Retrieval
2 Professor Juniper
2 Random Receiver
3 Bicycle
3 Rare Candy
3 Skyla
3 Tool Scrapper
3 Ultra Ball
4 N
4 Pokemon Catcher
4 Super Scoop Up

Energies: 12

12 Water

Here's my take on this.

Took out Jellicent line to add 2 mewtwo EX which will help me with mewtwo cosidering that it is a great counter to this deck. Also maxed out SSU which will give me the energies back and it is max potion for Keldedo

Keldeo 110HP{W}

{W} {C} ??? 30
{C} {C} {C} Hydro Pump 60+10 For each {W} Energy attached.

Need some of these in every Keldeo deck

Nah, it takes away a lot of your energies, and nothing with revenge kill you anyways except the rare epo Virizion.

Nice deck :D. but i would suggest running some other attackers besides mewtwo and keldeo EX. I would suggest:
-1 catcher
-1 scrapper
-1 bicycle
+2 cilan
+1 kyurem
+ 3 juniper
The reason why i have more add-ins then take outs is because you have 3 spaces left to fill. Anyways one of the better Blastoise decks I have seen, so really nice job :D

kyurem helps spreading around damage in the early game to hold off your opponent while you set up
