Vote! I included Chronicles (Hoso) even though technically, they're a series of specials.

My pick would be the very first. The new ones are kinda cool, but they just don't have that awesomeness of the first season, and it is the one that kicked off this wonderful craze. Ah, maybe I'm just old-school.

This site has a list of eps and other info if you need to refresh your memory.

Kinda fitting for the whole 10th Anniversary looking-back-thing, don't ya think?
 
That's why i wrote Hoso next to it because the Japanese versions of these eps were MUCH better in my opinion, although some of the dubbed eps are okay, too....

And come on! Who can't love the first few seasons. I think they were closer to Satoshi Tajiri's dream than the others!
 
#1 was the best, it was actually pretty violent and looked more realistic then all these happy pokemon seen today...Go, Areodactl. EAT ASH!!!
 
I loved the first season because that was the season that started the phenomenon and the kanto pokemon were the best and they were the ones that started it all.:)

Yeah. I love watching the old episodes, they have a different feel than the new eps, almost more for a teenage audience. If you think about it, the new eps sometimes follow a similar plotline as some older episodes yet they still don't seem as cool as the older ones. My unimportant opinion.
 
I wish I could watch those episodes again because they were so good a CN and the WB are not running them any more but they still have the episodes and they run a few of them once in a great while.:)
 
You can see the pics, synopsis, and event but it is what happens with people Ash met and what happend to them after the last time they met and mostly occured early Hoenn
 
Actually the episode are preety normal to me because all they have changed really is the number of pokemon per battle and the ways to use the attack in the games and TCG but overall it is still pretty normal.:)

but the 1st season is probably still going to be my favorite, because it has Arcanine :).

I kinda like Chronicles, too. I can't wait to see that Gary episode with the Aerodactyl... only other time you can see him after he left being a trainer. I kinda like him (a whole lot) better than Ash. He's a real trainer, not a stinkin kid who lucks out most of the time.
 
I just watched it on CN last night and it was the cerulean one and the team rocket one.:)
