What pair of pokemon would be the best to use in a 2-on-2 battle?

Probably TCG, since in-game Victreebel has almost nothing to do with Walrein.

I was thinking of GBA or anime. One fave of mine is Graveler with Earthquake and Zapdos. Zapdos can't get hurt by Earthquake and takes out the grass and water threats to Graveler.

Or a ghost with Graveler, so that it can last through an Explosion.

Any other good combos?

Groudon uses Endure and Metagross uses Explosion. Groudon's Leichi Berry? Kicks in and Reversals evreything.

ludicolo and kingdra! ludicolo uses fake out while kingdra uses rain dance... then hydro pump the foe in the face. They also have hardly any weaknesses!
