Banned but not banned?

I saw this the other day and I saw that Silver The Hedgehog's name is crossed out but the text under his name doesn't say he's banned.

However, Darkness Pokemon Master's name is not crossed out, but under the name it says "Banned".

Can anyone tell me why?
 
I really have no idea, but I think if the name is crossed out, it is a timed ban, and will be lifted, but if it says Banned in the text under a name, it is a permanent ban.

Maybe they just put the word "Banned" for fun because I saw DPM's post during the time when he's having the word "Banned" under his name...

umm, does it always say Bannedwhen your banne? as you can still log in, iu think not.

if you have a line throught your name you are ban in the same section look at the thread and at the end he gets banned and his name now has a line throught it
 
Ok, people, it's as simple as this:
Your user title is your PB status (Battle Frontier Brain, Strategist, Super moderator, Banned), unless you edit it, if your name is crossed out but it doesn't say "banned" underneath your name, then that means that you're not using your standard user title, but a costum user title. I your name didn't undergo any changes, but you have a user title like a standard user title which doesn't match your name-change, then you're a faker :p
 
Agreed with c-m, i now i'm Banned (atleast, my use title says so (Changed it to check))
 
DPM just typed banned as a joke. You are only banned if your name is crossed out.
 
The word "banned" or "Pokebeach Strategist" (For Strategists only) will only appear when you didn't change your User title. Clear? So in DPM's Case, he just put the word "Banned" here for the fun of it. Don't look at the User Title, stick to the Name. Crossed out? Banned. Simple.

Lol, I thought something like that was in there, but colors make it seem a bit more, well, understandable for n00bs, don't they?
