Registeel is WAY over-rated if you ask me, two earthquakes and bye bye. Its only good for explosion, and regirock is better for that.

perhaps he is, but registeel isn't overrated. i just finished the EV training and he really is a beast. He's just an annoyance, nothing more.

I like Sceptile. Why? I has great Special Attack and Speed Stats. A good EV on the Defense and Special Defense is needed though. So, here comes Sceptile.

. Second it's much better with a Bold Nature since it has pitiful Defense, so one good Physical move and it's toast, where with SpDEF it has incredible amounts. It's better to be balanced instead of lopsided.
Also for that movepool i'd suggest Natural Cure since it really doesn't have anything that Serene Grace would need.

I have a few favorite skill sets:
Starmie: Recover, Hydropump, Thunderbolt, Psycic
This allows for healing, use of both types, and thunderbolt is nice to have to counter other water types.
Charizard: Fireblast, Earthquake, Fly, Hyperbeam
Fireblast can do tons on a Charizard, Fly matches type, Earthquake is anti-rock and counters other fire types, Hyperbeam is good if I need a last chance attack.
Aggron: Irontail, Thunder, Fireblast, Rollout
Irontail and Rollout are accurate and match types, Fireblast counters Grass advantage, Thunder (may switch to thunderbolt) counters water advantage.
