Arkham City

It'd be a shame to get blood on my nice new thread.

So yeah, the new Batman game is coming out in approximately three weeks. It's gonna be awesome. It's a sequel to Arkham Asylum, which got Game of the year award in previous years. So yeah, it's a good game. Arkham City's supposedly has four times as much content as the original, and almost half of it is optional. Definately a game that would occupy you for a while.

For anyone who doesn't know what this game is, look on Youtube for trailers, it looks awesome. If anyone else is interested in this awesome game, LMK, post here, etc.

I must say that I am quite excited for Arkham City,though I did not play the first,this iteration looks superb and surely the experience will be worthwhile

I played the original Arkham Asylum, and it was spectacular. One of the most fun and in-depth superhero games out there, and I still think so today. The sequences with Scarecrow and Killer Croc repeatedly scared the living daylights out of me. The new one looks just as good, and I'm really excited about all the new environments I'll be able to endlessly grapple about. The combat system will probably be just as good, and the boss fights are gonna be epic. I'm really hoping Eidos brings their a-game once again. It'd make a great Christmas gift.

Dr. Strange knows Batman is Bruce Wayne. HOLY SELF MANIPULATING KILLING MEATBALL DOG SAUSAGE!

I am desperate for story and gameplay. Although I think Asylum on of the higher ends of what the current generation of consoles can offer, I still think it will be one of them games that I will get when the price goes down.

I'm currently watching a Let's Play of this game on YouTube after getting stoked on the Arkham Asylum Let's Play by Video Games Awesome with Fraser and his pals. How I yearn for an Adam West/Burt Ward style Batman game with this music:

Or you can just be like Fraser and play the Classic Batman Theme I linked to while playing Arkham City running around all over the place. It's totally worth it and gets you in the mood to fight crime.
