Hello PokeBeach readers, I’m back again! Last weekend, Brent Tonisson, James Cox, and I participated in a Conquest match — the main tournament format of Hearthstone, but for Pokémon — for $1,600 against Isaiah Brander, Jon Eng, and Regan Retzloff. We ended up winning the match in a close Game 9! Per the rules of the format, we had to bring five decks and get a win with all five of them. You can still play a deck after it has lost, but once you win with a deck, it is gone. Hearthstone uses classes to prevent players from doubling up on decks. There was a rule in place preventing us from doubling up on decks, so the five decks we chose to play were Gardevoir ex , Giratina VSTAR, Snorlax Stall...

The loss of path really stinks but it’s made up for by Leaves, HQ and more importantly maximum belt. The paths becomes disgusting in Arc Tina the second begin attaching belts?

Don’t forget that with Charizard being a centerpiece of the metagame, this is one of the answers to Zard that does not care about Charizard using Maximum Belt itself. Arceus has other things to worry about, but it never has to worry about Charizard thwarting its setup or intended prize race that early in the game.
 
Headlines like this are unnecessary click bait. Arceus has ALWAYS been good, it won Worlds, it was just a question of what partner pokemon can allow it to compete after each rotation.
 
Arceus wins like every third tournament for the past couple years, and every single time, the writers for this site pretend to be surprised
