If the put anything to do with the Swine Flu in any future episode then yes it will be banned for numerous amount of reasons that I can't Explain. BTW can you PM me the link to the 2nd dungeon episode again? I accidentally erased it when I was cleaning out my inbox. Thanks.:)

Yesterday's gym battle episode was pretty cool. I love how the anime is now being shown in widescreen.

Oh ok. Thanks. Anyone else think there will be Swine Flu in any future episodes? If so do you think it will be banned? If not then it will be ok. I just think the idea about it might be happening could happen. It sure sounds a bit odd. I could be wrong though.:)

Hmm... I don't know. I don't think that they'll mention it in the show. But, who knows?
If they did mention it, it could be banned... but it's been a pretty long time since an episode was banned.

Yeah I don't remember the last time one was either. Hard to say if they will or not but we will have to wait and see what happens though.:)

I'm against banning flashbacks of previous episodes - we're missing out on certain things.

Yeah. I have never seen any of the banned episodes but have heard a lot about them. Have any of you guys seen the? If you have are they good episodes or are they not worth watching?:)

The only banned episode I watched was "the legend of dratini". I thought it was good. It's the one where Ash catches all of his Tauros. I don't really get why that one was banned. The owner of the Safari Zone had a gun and shot it a few times, in a humorous sort of way. You should try to watch that one, sometime. I actually need to watch it again too. It's been over a year since I've seen it.

I watched Beauty And The Beach, The Legend Of Dratini and Electric Soldier Porygon. And also The Tower Of Terror and the Tentacruel one (my favourite in the first 20 EPs).

That is why it is banned. Because of the fact a gun was used. They don't want little kids to see guns in a cartoon show so they banned the episode.:)

Beauty And The Beach: i didn't see this one, but the image of james having female characteristics makes me laugh

The Legend Of Dratini: i loved this episode, the safari man wants to protect his old friend from any danger, its a nice plot

Electric Soldier Porygon: i tried watching it, it made my eyes hurt... stopped watching half-way...

The Tower Of Terror:i believe that this is the episode where ash caught haunter to battle sabrina, i found the ghost pokemon very funny, i also liked when charmander was attacked, lick rocks!

Tentacruel one: i just remember the image of the giant tentacruel leveling the building, and the old hag woman... i didn't like it

This... is a banned episode? O_O Why? It's on my first season box set. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it, from what I remember.

Now, this one was banned after September 11th, right? Because of the part where Tentacruel destroys a building. It's still on my box set, though.

Oh, and there was also one banned episode in Johto. It was banned just because there was a Jynx in it.
And, there was another one in the beginning of Hoenn. It was about Whiscash and earthquakes, I think.

i think tower of terror was banned simply because of its name, nothing in the episode is worthy of being banned

the tentacruel one got banned on account of the image of a building getting demolished, i guess it is to close to home to show anymore

the jynx episode got banned because it portrayed black people in an offensive way, honestly i don't see how jynx can be considered offensive

and the whishcash/earthquake episode got banned because about a week before it was supposed to air an earthquake happened and they thought it would be in bad taste to air it

The Legend Of Dratini has swearing in it.

The Legend Of Thunder (Raikou one) should be banned because the Jap version also has swearing.

It doesn't really matter if they swear in the original, though. They can easily change that in the dub.
Besides, Japan just isn't as strict with kids shows as America is.

Anyone see the new dub episode? I loved the battle between Paul and Brandon.

I think Beauty and the Beach aired 1 time but not sure. That could be why it was banned. The fact that they included it in the box sets is probably because they banned it after it aired or something.:)

Oh, I think they did air Beauty and the Beach once outside of Japan. It was a really shortened version, though.
That one actually isn't on the box set. I've never seen that episode and... I don't want to. xD

To us it is not but it is aimed at little kids. Parents don't want their kids watching things with guns or explicit material of any kind it shows so it was wise to ban it. For us it would be ok but not for them.:)

Barboach and Whiscash! Shaking Island! Is such a cool episode according to the preview.
