I was wondering if anyone here read Calvin and Hobbes still, I LOVE them, I think it's beautiful, my favorite parts would have to be either when they go exploring in the final strip, or when Calvin loses Hobbes, because they go to that wedding, and they get robbed. It's heartwarming when he says "Wel,, I think he's valuable." It makes me cry every time...

I've been reading them since 1st grade. I've memorized a lot of the strips, and it's fin to go back and read them again, because a lot of the jokes I never really understood in the 1st or 2nd grade.

They are wonderful books, and I recommend everyone going out and buying at least one. They're funny and heart-warming.

Yeah, it's too bad Bill Watterson stopped writing them.

I still enjoy reading a few on saturday morning. I spent 300$ last year to by the collection with all of them in it. 6907 pages.

You still get them in your paper?! LUCKY! I can't afford the complete collection, I only have 5$...:(

It was my birthday present for two years, so ya....

But yes, I still get them In my paper. They don't come in the standard paper, same areas have different newspapers available. You might want to check your local listings to see if any contain them.

http://www.gocomics.com/calvinandhobbes/

go to it daily, and save the image.

I get them occasionally. It's between Dilbert and Calvin in the business section. Therefore, I buy the books.

I love the comics. Whenever I'm bored or waiting I'll read it and get a laugh.

dmaster out.

Wait... ohmygod. I found the final strip on google and I was shocked :(. Looks like I have some reading to catch up on (oh yeah, I love Calvin and Hobbes. It's my favourtie comic of all time).

EDIT: Turns out the comic I read was not the last issue, and the real final strip had a much happier ending :')

Yeah I love calvin and hobbes
though I only have like two of the books
Ive read them both cover to cover
they're amazing

My dad had a lot of Calvin and Hobbes books. I enjoy reading them. I like Watterson should've continued like Schultz did with the Peanuts or Davis with Garfield. Because those three comic series are the three best of all time.

i dont think i would be me without calvin and hobbes. I LOVE THESE 2 COMICS:

When Calvin is eating and he burps really loud and his mom is like" Calvin! What do you say!"
"Felt better going down then coming up."
"Calvin!"
and they go back and forth a few more times and she is like "3 strikes and your out" and he says excuse me super quietly lol...

And the other comic i like is when calvin brings the trike inside and drives it by the counter and says"8 cookies to go please." and calvins mom is like "this isnt a drive through this is a kitchen now put it away!"

lol everytime...
