I'm praying the hit rates are juiced up for this set, aside from making singles cheaper it'll also be way more fun opening packs. I always love the satisfaction of pulling a card you really want and knowing you got it yourself.
The true fear is not knowing if the God Packs apply to the deluxe 35-card boosters or not...
Everyone hoped the same with prismatic yet here we are. Though that's not to say I disagree that it'd be amazing, I just personally wouldn't count on it
Person usually pulls packs really fast and people are just taking screenshots of the live stream, not actual photos
Its assumed to be similar to CZ since that was the end of Sword and Shield with ton of illustrations and high pull rates. This will be the end of SV, with over 150 IRs. Would be crazy to not have decent IR rate at least

tbh fair - while I was collecting at the time, I wasn't actually keeping up with specific sets so I didn't personally pick up on the fact it had a higher hit rate. If it does turn out like CZ though I'll be entirely pleased

Hmm...initial feelings are "If everything gets an IR then they're not really IR's", just dilutes how special they feel. However maybe this will cooldown the market a tad?
Lots of artworks I like a lot and lots I find rather boring. But should be really good, because everyone gets something in their favourite style. And if the pullrates are good, most of the ARs should not be that expensive. But hard to say based on the recent sets.
I agree that it influences the feeling, but unless there would be one in every pack, specific ones will still be much harder to be pulled than a holo, which now are almost worthless.
Having been watching the stream for a while now, I must commend WPM for his due diligence. And it's scary watching someone clear piles of booster boxes... only to bring on the same size piles from offscreen. About a couple of dozen cards I like so far!
I just worry that if they're overusing IR's where do you even go from here to make a card feel special other than artificial scarcity? Sometimes certain "SIR"'s don't even look that special (looking at you Yanmega Ex), and I'd like a rare card to at least look like something unique instead of it purely being a pull rate thing
