since the next set is A3b it should also focus on Alolan Pokemon (maybe necrozma and its forms) if not another Shiny set or something else

I agree that the shinies aren't the best and that they really shouldn't be there, but I don't know why you'd be mad at more cards, they don't negatively impact the pull rates

Promo does not satisfy my rayquaza urges. I havent have a physical card in years and I'm genuinely tweaking.

Empoleon and Primarina lines are my favorites out of the starter packs and how they are treated in this game makes me sad. Well, at least Piplup line gets some cards in irl PTCG..

Not gonna lie, Pocket is just not as sustainable as the main tcg. Obviously there's the glaring problem of random, non-themed Shinies thrown in, but I think we need to have a real conversation about how they do sets. 2 sets per gen. On its own, it's lame. I know plenty of people don't like it, myself included- but what happens when they do all 9 gens? Do they reset to gen 1 and give every gen 2 more sets? Do they just repeat what they've already done? I really can't see a way for this format to work out well, as well as cleanly, in the long-run....??

No repel effects basic pokemon. But yeah power creeps getting ridiculous. Genetic apex we had to get a stage 2 in play to place 2 damage counters. Space time smackdown a basic that all you need to do is slap an energy on.
