ACT core.

Hi. I'm in 7th grade, and my class is forced to take the ACT core (math), and i'm wondering if any of the older members could give me some advise For the test. Taking a college level test kind of scares me, because I freak out when i can't answer one question on a test, and then I miss all the other questions because i'm so nervous. I'm quessing it has some quadratics, pathagorum therurum thtuff (LOL). Any advice from people who have taken the test? (and passed)?

Um... if you're only in 7th grade I highly doubt you are taking the actual ACT. But... on the off chance that you are, it's not that hard. It just took a long time. I can't remember for the life of me what was on it, but I do remember that it was pretty simple. Just don't take too long on any one question.

no, It's the real thing. I got in the 99th percentile in math, so i'm in "advanced math" and all the kids in my group have to take it. My teacher is trying to make it sound like a 500 question test.

and put all procedures...

The ACT doesn't look for your work. :/ There are a couple of free response questions but there is no place for work. You just write in your answer.

Juliacoolo, it's not 500 questions. It was like... 50 at the most. I went in without any practice on the ACT or SAT and I did fine. It really isn't that bad as long as you take your time... just don't go too slow. :p

His name is Andrew. -_-

I haven't taken it yet but try and answer the easiest questions you know first so you have more time for the harder ones.

Out of 50? :( Nice job....I think.

Out of 36.

The average composite score for the country is something like 20 I think...or lower.
