A stupid kid that was all glorious about he always won all the tournaments was bother me when i play Fisherman, because i don't have 4 o more energy cards in my discard pile. In addition, he said that a judge say it to him.

In USA you play Fisherman of this way?

In the USA, we generally play the same as Japan. And I don't know what the kid is thinking; he's partly mistaken. (Or maybe I partly misunderstand what you are saying.)

Here is how the ruling on Fisherman goes.

~If you have 5 or more basic energies in your discard pile, choose exactly 4 of them and return them to your hand.
~If you have 4 or less basic energies in your discard pile, choose all of them and return them to your hand.
