(1) Cities In Review and Looking Ahead to States [1/23]

Er, should there be a discussion thread for this article in general, or should it simply be locked with a link to the thread that has the article and a place to respond to it? I hope that makes sense.

This is kind of cute and all, but Pokebeach is more of a site I come visit to find out about scans and future Pokemon products. That being said, let's get some Next Destines scans up already!

We can't have ND scans if there hasn't been any PRs yet. ;)

I agree with this. If you want to comment on the article, you might as well respond to the article, not go to a separate thread. If this is for the posting of articles in general, that's fine with me. It's not clear, though.

Maybe if you had an open mind about it, you could go to PB for more than just scans. :)

Also, thanks for putting the article up, WPM. Every time I look at it, there's another 200 views. :D

I'll get them up when I have time.

Just for the sake of getting the word out there, hundreds if not the entire Pokemon TCG community appreciates the fact what you guys at Pokebeach take the time to get the newest and latest piece of prevalent Pokemon TCG info on the Internet before it hits store shelves.

Out of my top ten websites that I visit daily, Pokebeach is among the top three.

Keep up the great work!

I guess I need an "open mind" to visit Pokebeach:cool:(?)Anyway, it is my humble opinion, the site specializes in providing the latest scoop on everything new related to Pokémon TCG and Pokémon Video game related products which gives Pokebeach an edge against the “other” sites.

I am open to many different Pokémon things related to world of Pokémon, but I honestly come here for TCG related things. I am a Pokémon TCG aficionado, and yes tournament reports and future predictions are nice and all, but I feel that stuff is best done among the confines of a team or the individual for the most optimal results.

This is my opinion, and I must restate that I greatly value this site and all the people who make it awesome.:)

Uh WPM I have a question. Why is the news post a direct copy of their article? Usually you add something to the news story but nothing was added to better explain the story. If you get some time you might want to edit that before something bad happens for not adding to the story shall we say. Just a heads up XD.:)

I don't even
What
Since when is cities and states singular anyway
:B

No seriously, haven't been confused by Pokémon news this way yet lmao, is this about some kind of TCG tournaments held in in the US that many members of this site participate in/like to read about?

I wasn't saying you need to have a more open mind to visit PB. I was just saying not to write off the idea of articles being released just because it's not something you usually come to the site for. The two "big" competitive sites (PokeGym and Six Prizes) both release far more articles than we do, this idea isn't at all unique or unheard of. I'm not sure what you mean by this: "but I feel that stuff is best done among the confines of a team or the individual for the most optimal results." If you mean the information should be withheld for smaller teams, I disagree. Help and advice should not be hidden if it can be avoided. If you mean you felt my predictions were untested theorymon and/or inaccurate, I'd be happy to debate that with you if you explain in a little more detail.

This was an article I wrote, so it wasn't really a news story. Cities and States are tournaments held in the United States (and a lot of other places around the world) that most players on the forum participate in (or try to). You can find out more about it on the U.S. version of Pokémon's official website if you're interested in finding out what they are.
