If only they would release a set like this in America. Kudos to Miramax for releasing bluray collections of the movies they hold license for, let's hope the other companies do the same one day.

I might get these, as the last pokemon movie I actually owned was the first one on VHS, all those years ago *wipes nostalgic tear from eye*, but then again I don't have a HD TV, so I wouldn't be able to enjoy them anyway...

I'm sure they'll sell like crazy in japan and it would be nice if got an official english version at some point (but the distribution rights and fuss over DRM means this will probably never happen)

according to that, the USA and Japan share a region code, so it should work. UK and Aus' are on EU coding.

I'm hoping something like this comes to the US (and for a lower price). I've been thinking to start buying the Pokemon movies for my collection, but found that some aren't even available anymore.

I got the first 10 movies on dvd for €20. Compared to that, this is madness.
I'd happily pay around €60 for a collection like that. They just can't assume to make so much money on films that are that old.
