All 190 regular cards from Japan’s Shiny Treasure ex have just been revealed! The set releases in Japan on December 1st.

Shiny Treasure ex serves as Japan’s annual “reprint” set, meaning it mostly contains reprinted cards. These annual sets help ensure cards from the past year are available to Japanese players and collectors. There are only a handful of brand new cards and alternate arts sprinkled into the main set. The set also includes alternate art promos that were released first in English, such as those from our Pokemon ex boxes and prerelease kits. Those cards are new to Japanese fans.

The set will feature over 150 secret rares with alternate artwork, including shiny Pokemon. This will be the main appeal of the set. All of the set’s secret rare cards will be revealed by...

The Flittle is a new card. Looks like the worst one to date though; 30HP, 1 RC, & 2 Energy attack lol.

the new espathra ex is ... a bug type? it looks pretty cool! the grass energy typing to this card means that if a roaring moon ex has 3 energy attached to it, espathra ex can OHKO it. however, the main attraction is the ability that makes opponent's attacks cost one colorless more. alongside league hq, this can ideally make attacking espathra much harder. this will also synergize with its attack, where it wants the opponent having more energy!

this can make espathra ex carve out its own niche as a rogue deck, but you might need either (a) heavy hand control or (b) new moon lunatone to avoid getting demolished by path to the peak. still though, this is one of the most unique cards we've seen on a competitive level this generation!

art rating: good!
competitive rating: rogue deck potential

partners to espathra ex:

new moon lunatone & solrock - by shutting off the effects of stadiums on espathra ex, your opponent can't get past its ability through path to the peak. as a matter of fact, for even more disruption, espathra ex could potentially use path to the peak ITSELF alongside lunatone & solrock, akin to the niche glimmora ex decks.

xatu - since gardevoir ex can't attach energy onto espathra, xatu will have to be the go-to energy acceleration to boost the damage of espathra's attack. it also functions as a mini-draw-engine for a deck like this.

paradox rift espathra - single-prize espathra can evolve and use its ability (prevents all damage done to it for 1 turn) to sit in the active spot for a turn, giving you more time to build up your board. also, since espathra ex decks are could feasibly run a 1-of tulip, maybe espathra could use its tulip-reliant attack?

mew ex - it will be hard for espathra ex to get big OHKO's on most mons, so mew ex can be useful against tanky pokemon like giratina vstar and charizard ex, or pokemon like raikou v which don't have lots of energy on them. a strong basic attacker is always nice, especially considering that mew ex is also a mini-draw-engine and a free retreat pivot.

Espathra is actually pretty cool, though my issue is its attack takes a lot of investment to reach damage already matched by other EX for less.

Seems like its design is strictly to be a counter against Darkness pokemons. One P energy instahits a fully charged, fully healthy roaring moon Roaring Moon, and 4 P energy can counter hit a TeraZard, assuming it has 3 energy on it because of Espathra's ability.

But you're correct, other than that it takes intensive resources to hit anything else for respectable damage. Koala on an earlier post does provide nice partner options, it will definitely have to be run alongside Xatu.

They weren't brave enough to give us shiny Pineco.

Yeah, weird that its Forretress got one, but not its pre-evo.
Pineco is right there in the set before Forretress haha. Based on the numbering, it seems every non-ex Pokemon, except for Gimmighoul and Gholdengo, are getting Shiny cards, as well as every ex card that isn't a Legendary Pokemon from Paldea

List of gen 9 pokémon not featured in the set therefore not getting shiny cards:

Tarountula

Nymble
Lokix
Tadbulb
Bellibolt
Bramblin
Brambleghast
Klawf
Bombirdier
Orthworm
Cetoddle
Cetitan
Farigiraf
Dudunsparce

Brute Bonnet
Flutter Mane (yet to be printed)
Slither Wing
Sandy Shocks
Iron Bundle
Iron Hands
Iron Jugulis
Iron Moth
Iron Thorns (yet to be printed)
Roaring Moon
Iron Valiant

The following pokémon though featured in the set are unobtainable as shinies in-game and therefore highly unlikely to get shiny cards:

Wo-Chien
Chien-Pao
Ting-Lu
Chi-Yu
Koraidon
Miraidon

No arcanine fullart shiny :-/ no flareon, joltreon and vaporeon baby shinys either. No butterfree baby shiny :`-( no gastly/haunter/gengar baby shinys, but they weren't very possible, so it's okay. Snorlax and entei baby shiny is cool. I hope, entei geht's the 4th ar shiny.

Why is judge getting a sr, but is not even in the set? :-D
These sets tend to give SR cards to Supporters who haven't received them yet, despite not being in the set, so I think cards like Nemona, Youngster, and the promo Supporters are likely candidates for other SR (along with the new ones from the set)

The box legends I'm guessing will be saved for something like the Crown Zenith boxes at the end of S/V era, some time after an in-game event for their shinies has already passed.

We will only have 5 supporter fullarts this time.
