I can't help but think mega latias ex could work in dragapult. 300 is a pretty good damage number to hit only cutting short of stage 2 ex and stage 1+ megas. It does use the same energy types as dragapult, but given lillies Clefairy ex is running around with Gardevoir, it's high risk high reward.

Gardevoir ex: **exits due to rotation in 2026**

Dragapult ex: yay i can reign supreme now!

Mega Gardevoir ex: **appears** my death was…greatly exaggerated.

They should have done Paldean Fates after Destined Rivals and not less than 5 sets into this era. Jesus, Paldean Fates came out before every gen 9 Pokemon had even been revealed, just to put into perspective just how greedily prematurely that set came out

Yea tho to be honest, prismatic could have been our final SV set…

It’s like how S/S had Crown Zenith and XY had the best of X and Y in japan.

We need something to be like an ending to SV and not black bolt white flare

I'm guessing Mega Evolution is the main series name since we've totally dropped the Scarlet & Violet name, so it would probably go Mega Evolution - (set name). Sorta like what they did with the EX series way back in the day. BREAKpoint and BREAKthrough are somewhat oddities, but they did still have the XY series name attached to them!

Well, XY is where Mega Evolution originated. There is no Mega Evolution capability in SV.

Also, the name “Scarlet & Violet Mega Evolution” would definitely throw people off (from a marketing perspective)…

I see, thought it was going to be like in Japan, where Misty Garden is the last card of the set. Still, 6 import cards, while I think there's 7 cards waiting to be imported? Wonder which's getting left out.

Wished they fixed that already but seems like it wont be the case for this era. Just hoping they do it for gen 10
