Yeah, they just print bad cards but then give them OP trainers that make them average (looking at YOU, Hop!)Thank god, parasitic mechanics like them are very bad for the game

Only thing I really hate, why is lillie a straight up powercreep on Cynthia? Like isn't cynthias effect strong enough these days?
its definitely something, its a buffed up version. for the longest time there hasnt been a replacement for cynthia in the form of reprint for quite sometime. its a better version of PARASOL ladyI think it's more of a callback to Lillie's original card. It was heavily played up until they changed the supporter rule in gen 8.
depends on the situation, if have 6 cards in your hand already and wanted to reshuffle that might not be useful, if you have next to no cards in the hand then yes its better. but overall, research, iono would be better. or if you dont have a useful hand, you need to reshuffle. i think the intial point is taking advantage of drawing 8 cards with 6 prizes.Trainer cards don't really power creep in the traditional sense since after each rotation trainers can either be replaced with higher or lower powered cards much easier than Pokemon (see: all the Items that rotated from D block). There's still plenty of time for Research to be reprinted with an updated regulation mark and shuffle draw 6 is often considered just worse than discard draw 7 (see, Professor Oak's New Theory vs Professor Juniper)
latias cards dint see play for quite some time, maybe they are throwing a bone. remember latios ex, the donker.Does Gamefreak prefer Latias over Latios? This is the second set where Latias receives an ultra rare while Latios only gets an uncommon
