Idk, has some potential bc of how much grass energy you can put on the board with ogerpons, I wish it said grass energy instead of basic grass energy but if you could infinitely move luminous/legacy/prism energy across your bench it'd be nuts

Okay, the Venusaur's attack isn't amazing, but it at least hits the lower relevant magic numbers, which is more than the last Venusaur ex can say. You'd probably have at least a few winnable matchups if you built the deck well. This also sets it apart from Lunala GX, the last bulky multiprize Base Set Venusaur successor, which could only hit for about 120 damage in a format where 180 would be the bare minimum.
The nice part is that Teal Mask Ogerpon ex can help you accelerate Energy while drawing more cards. I guess it also might be worth mentioning that Whimsicott from Temporal Forces provides an Ability alternative to Wally, but I doubt a Mega Venusaur ex/Teal Mask Ogerpon ex deck would have room for it.
Overall, Mega Venusaur ex isn't looking amazing at the moment, but it's something. Just like the original Energy Trans Venusaur, actually.

Are you guys who see Venusaur and think it's ass not seeing the Wally's Compassion card? You can just move all your energy away, heal it, move them back. Slap a Hero's Cape on that boy and you're not dying anytime soon
I find it hilarious that Ninetales is just a worse Sableye Stormfront in nearly every way imaginable. Stage 1, needs an Energy, has a high chance of failing if you don't run a separate effect like Academy after Curfew as opposed to being able to search the deck for whatever you want, and worst of all, no broken Pokémon Power that lets you trump the opening coin flip and declare yourself the first player to make a move that game.

Items Fullart - don't know. Gold Items were great, Fullart Items will be lower as Supporter Fullarts, which are likely 1-2$ cards, in my opinion. I can't imagine, that they will be desired.
It will be interesting, if they replace Supporter Fullarts. Because of the numbering 12 ARs, 5-6 ex Fullarts, it's a little bit tight in the 80s.

The Venusaur can work. U guys worry too much. The real problem is M.Gardevoir, that thing is Tier 0 no questions asked. Even when regular ex rotates it might be tier 0 still, it didn't need The stadium. The meta is gonna suck if it's as good as it sounds.

Fullart items are pretty nice i cant lie, gold cards are kinda ugly imo so this is appreciated.
New ralts and kirlia are pretty nice upgrades to the current gardy list, but that stadium especially is disgusting. Even as someone who plays gardy I dont really get why they seem so committed to keeping it the best deck in the room.
Latias luckily seems pretty bad because a good 3 prize basic is terrifying. Wally is a supporter but healing 300 off a single card sounds disgusting. If research really is rotating, lillie is a pretty easy replacement which also implies their problem with the card was that it discarded and not because it draws a ton at once???
Venusaur is weird because its attack is obviously terrible but it just might be able to become unkillable enough for that to not matter.
Uninori art latios is beautiful though. Probably my favorite ptcg artist atm.

I kind of rate the Venasaur - Relicanth giving you access to corner is pretty superb. Especially when Teal Mask Ogerpon gives you a load of access to energy acceleration and draw, I could see an cross between Toedscruel Ogerpon and Armarouge box putting in some work.
Literally anything would've been better. Breaks and Level X cards counted as stage 3s without being called Stage 3's.

I knew they would give Kirlia a draw engine! I guess this would be too broken if it was an ability and not an attack.
I think it's more of a callback to Lillie's original card. It was heavily played up until they changed the supporter rule in gen 8.
Does this mean that acerola is in this set too? As she's on the Pokémon centre product box?
I am not a competitive player (where I can imagine that they have some appeal), so just looking at them, they look even more boring than FA Supporters. And if they are added on top of IRs, SIRs, FA Supporters, Gold cards..., I am not really a fan. The golden items and stadiums often are sold for 5-10 €, many FA Supporters for 2 € or so. So I think the SR spot is already heavily overpopulated and something would need to go away if they add a couple of FA Items per set. Because I will be even more disappointed if I pull a FA Potion, Red Card or Frying Pan than a FA Supporter as the one SR card in a Japanese box.
I think a stage 4 would have been very exhausting honestly. That venu would probably have near 500 hp as well to make up for it
