There shouldn't be a reprint set this year, scarlet and violet block is over after black bolt and white flare. There will be no more trainer's pokemon until they decide to kill us again in a few more years.

It's the start of the Mega Evolution series rather than part of the Scarlet & Violet series. They said as much in the initial announcement, and Mega Brave/Mega Symphonia have Japanese set codes "M1" instead of "SV12." They used to do this a lot before Black and White.

Okay, so we have a confirmed Mega Charizard, and it is indeed the X variant. It will most likely have a special illustration rare then. Now, we just need to know which artist is handling this bad boy.

I think that the artist may be Akira Egawa, due to having done the last 2 Charizard SIRs, which were received very well. They seem to be in contacts, since they did an art in Journey Together....

Either Baxcalibur will become the most baffling decision of the era by skipping it or they waiting as much as they can (mega sets still can perfectly add gen IX pokemon ex) so they dont have the one with a really good ability and the ex one being legal for a long time. And I really want Brambleghast ex but I just know the 1 prizer will probably be way more "playable" or at least interesting

It would be idiotic for them to stop something as successful as the full art cards are. Even if they do change the term "SIR" they'll just replace it with a different name. Full art cards aren't going anywhere.

It was also idiotic to cut out ARs from Terastal Festival ^^ And Pokémon fullarts, every fan would have wanted Vaporeon fullart instead of supporter fullarts.
