“Black Bolt” and “White Flare” Special Sets Revealed in English, Will Be First-Ever Dual Sets!

Prismatic pull rates were actually good, people just didn't feel it cause the 'hits' were pokeballs and master ball cards, in this set I'm assuming they're gonna keep the same pull rates, 1 in 3 for an IR, 1 in 12 for a FA (if there are any) 1 in 40 for a SIR, then golds or the black and white rarity cards will be like 1 in 180.

Printing a lot dosen't mean your necessarily gonna get anything out of it. I've explained this before, so I just recommend looking at economics as an very loose example of why "Just print more" Dosen't work.

I don’t think the pull rates were that bad, considering that Demi-god-packs weren’t that rare. Prismatic isn’t as hard to pull as everyone makes it out to be. i had a hit in every product I bought.


Yes. I still which we had the exact same circle as japan. Simultaneous release, same products, etc.

Must be nice, got 1 hit in 162 packs. Pull rates were terrible, no full arts or IR pokemon meant there was nothing to hit between SIR and master balls.

You just made up a Problem that just applied to you: being spoiled and expect things that weren’t meant to be there. This Set had no IRs or FAs and just because zu demand them, doesn’t mean they have to be there. It’s not like it was a secret or anything.

Also what’s that number? I opened 23 packs, hit 3 SIRs and 4 Masterballs. I never heard from anything less from my local community, with half of them even having a Demi god pack. The pull rates weren’t as bad, you just didn’t have a special shiny art in every second pack as before. Again, that’s just the community being spoiled. What did you all do before IRs and SIRs?

A lot of people don't collect just for value tho - I love the gen 5 pokemon and I want there to be a lot of printing so that the sets r easier to find and the singles r still relatively affordable🤷‍♂️

Yeah that's one good addition they did. Too bad the hit rates for those are pretty bad for the most part. I'll still take a whole box or sleeved individual packs but too bad they don't make them for special sets
 
Given that they will be separate sets released as 'dual' sets, will it affect the pull rates and the prices?
Perhaps higher pull rates because each set products will need more cards of the set to fill the size of a typical trainer boxes or cheaper prices for each set as they remain split into separate sets. I've never seen sets released like this in international version, so it's interesting.
 
Honestly I don't even care about the art if it's bad that's fine if it's good that's just the cherry on top for me, gen v was my first introduction to the world of pokemon, getting pokemon white when I got my ds as a kid, my favourite pokemon is still reshiram, I just hope the set doesn't get completely bought out so I can walk down memory lane with a few packs
 
Oh that should be a really awesome poster isn’t it. And I wonder why they didn’t go with white and orange for Reshiram but eh details. A dual set for us should be interesting I never really thought about it but I don’t think I prefer it this way 😅
