The cards are arranged by type, Karrablast is a grass type here and Escavalier is a metal type so they're not beside each other

Sounds so stupid that they put it in both sets. But I understand that they probably did so to keep the sets fairly balanced. They should've instead just created a SPC and shoved the Victini in there as a promo.
I saw the Victini leaked on Reddit and it had white text, think it came from White Flare. If they make the Victini in Black Bolt have black text, then that would be pretty cool and I'll actually be good with them having Victini in both sets. If not, then what a missed opportunity.

You know what, double IR hit rate is better than same old. 1/3 woulda been better but at least it isn’t the normal rate. Why can’t we just have Crown Zenith again lol

If people don't wake up with this set and realize that companies are so greedy that we are unjustifiably throwing money at them I have truly lost hope for common sense. With this many double rare and above cards in each set there's literally not reason why we shouldn't have a guaranteed IR/SIR in every pack. We gotta stop just accepting whatever is thrown our way and start speaking with our wallets. The disrespect is so blatant.
That's a nice sentiment in theory, but no amount of boycotting is going to get them to change anything. Pokemon is too big to fail now and has weathered worse storms than bad pull rates in the TCG. And this is also a scalper's hobby now so Pokemon is going to make their money regardless of what fans say.

Are the pull rates the same on TCG Live?? Is it easier and cheaper to collect cards online?
Managed to open a couple of packs today and I'll be honest, not really worth it, it's better to get singles for this one
Pulled the Zekrom Monochrome from my Pokemon Center ETB! Good luck everyone. I got lucky but my friend with the White flare ETB got 2 full arts, one art rare, a master ball and some pokeballs. Overall hit rates are decent, but for the main draw of art rares, probably better off buying singles. Still a fun set to open. Anecdotally, my local gamestop still had a mostly full box of ETBs by 3pm so maybe some good news? Not that I bought one : p
This is the worst rollout of a new set I can remember seeing. TCGPlayer's a mess, cards are listed all over the place because they have "Black Bolt" "White Flare" and roll them both together under the set listing, entire cards are out of stock on release day, all of the illustration rares are expensive because the pull rates suck, blah blah blah. Hopefully this set flops and they're never tempted to do a giant dual release with a million cards ever again.
