    Expanded Vilebox (for Regionals)

Darkrai EX>Manaphy EX, does the same thing for your deck, but has more hp and takes care of trees

    Ruling Klefki v. hex maniac

If I use klefki's ability to discard everything attached to it and attach it to my active and my opponent plays a hex maniac and attacks me with a mega pokemon does the attack still go through?

    Discussion Viability of Wailord

Wailord is great in the hands of the right player. Some players try to be too aggressive with it. If you are ok with having a bad vespiquen and greninja matchup and don't fall asleep at how boring it is to play, it's a perfect deck.

    Fun Nationals Playtesting Group

Screen Name: Sharpedo. Still Unsure if I am going to nats, but just in case, I'd like to get some testing in, and even if I don't go, I can still help others. I can build pretty much anything that isn't Trees or Frogs and I would like to test against all the top tier decks, and some of the...

Need Competitive Knowledge Updated From Since the 2013-2014 Format

A more stable format will be after rotation if nothing gets reprinted. It's hard for me to compare formats, but I think it's less skilled based today because there is less versatility between decks. 2013-2014 was rayboar, blastoise, yveltal, virgen, and plasma right? I know I played a lot in...

Need Competitive Knowledge Updated From Since the 2013-2014 Format

Colress has been rotated (unfortunately) and nobody plays skyla anymore. Lysandre has the same effect as catcher without a coin flip, but it is a supporter :(. Juniper isn't legal in standard anymore. Everyone is running less supporter cards thanks to the reprint of VS seeker, and oh yeah, you...

Discussion What should I play for Nationals?

Hex Maniac t1 is amazing against any deck, the problem with that is greninja isn't a deck that can dig very much since it doesn't run shaymins. I run 2 copies of the jirachi promo to help the matchup, but other than that I would just take the auto loss as I don't see vespiquen/vileplume doing...

Discussion What should I play for Nationals?

Pick whichever you feel the most comfortable with and is consistent as you will be playing 9 grueling rounds and dead drawing just 1 of those rounds could cost you the ability of making cut. If you look at the results of last year's nationals, most of the decks that did well were consistency...

    Standard Night March

@Ivy_Profen I will try 3, teammates is too valuable imo. @DatSonicAce I don't run night march as my main deck (yet), it's mainly used for testing against other decks. I don't run mew because i didn't have the space and it is vulnerable to hex maniac or silent lab. I will try 1 to 2 though...

    Standard Night March

What do you suggest i take out for it?

    Standard Night March

Hey guys. So I have a rather annoying dilemma here. I see most every night march player have a very successful turn 1 in which they play multiple battle compressors and are able to hit t1 night march for 180 or more. I on the other hand struggle just to get t1 100 damage. I run the whole 9 yards...

    Standard Greninja/Aegislash/Genger (G.A.G. for short)

iI would pick one or the other. Either Aegislash or Greninja, both work well with greninja, but three stage 2's is too much to set up. Personally I would go with gengar because he can take immediate knock outs after a greninja snipe. You could also take out the Double colorless energies if you...

    Discussion Spring Regionals Decks

I think trevenant break will be popular. The real issue is primal groudon. This deck is very good in the hands of someone who knows how to use it. It may or may not be popular though because you need tropical beaches for it to be good. So either 1. Everyone will buy beaches and play it, 2...

Think of a Budget Deck Under $40 with Potential

Miltank/Vileplume. You don't even need VS seekers. This is assuming there is no shaymin. Wobbuffet/bats comes close but I think is a bit over the mark.

    Expanded Speed Darkrai-EX / Yveltal-EX

This deck outspeeds both. It is lightning fast. It has made several top 32's at regionals. I'm debating playing it myself.

    Expanded Speed Darkrai-EX / Yveltal-EX

Fighting Fury belt > Dark claw. Reverse Valley is also a great stadium in this deck. You also need to max out on Max Elixir. Why no Trainers mail or shaymin EX? And if you want to stop Sigilyph or Suicune Baby Yveltal and Hex Maniac are your best options.

Discussion Xerneas vs. Max Elixir in Aromatisse

Hey all! So if you had the option of playing 4 Xerneas with the Geomancy attack or 4 Max Elixir in an Aromatisse variant which would you choose? Both have their ups and downs. Let's start with Xerneas. It's attack is guaranteed to get you 2 energy, however you want to use this early in the game...

Event Night March is the Play in Standard

Night March doesn't lose that bad to Lucario. Pumpkaboo hits it for weakness and has resistance against it.

Discussion States Meta: What to Play

Because of fighting fury belt I believe that the format will either have more cards to discard tools or revolve more around 2hkos because not much can hit 210-220 consistently every turn aside from bees, night March, and rayquaza. Because of this I think mega mewtwo with shrine of memories will...

Discussion States Meta: What to Play

I think night March is dead for the time being. There's too many things that stop it. Toadtina is gaining popularity, trevenant break stonps on it, bursting balloon kills night marchers and jolteon EX stops it in its tracks. Let's not even get started on how badly greninja beats night March...
