All 172 main set cards from Japan's Black Bolt and White Flare have just been revealed!
The dual sets will release on June 6th in Japan.
Similar to Pokemon Card 151 featuring every Kanto Pokemon, Black Bolt and White Flare will feature all 156 Unova Pokemon. Each Pokemon will be available as both a regular card and either an Illustration Rare or Special Illustration Rare.

Also fun fact, part of roggenrola’s name is a swear for a certain male reproductive organ in Portuguese. All I’m saying is that I’m banging Claytonic’s ex-wife

On a more serious note, I love how every single evolutionary line (from what I can tell) has had art done by the same artist, in the same style. I don’t think they’ve ever done that before for an entire set

Also- you translated the wrong Tirtouga and Carracosta! Not that we haven’t seen it before, lol.

Is this Hydreigon ex finally the use case for TM Blindside after so long and so many teases? From the current translated wording it seems like it’d work with a bench snipe attack it doesn’t actually have. Just ko’ing something with damage from an attack should trigger it.

I missed that Cheren full art is a promo so is he taken out? Also didnt notice Professor Juniper is literally the one from starter decks so idk will she get a full art? Will Zekrom and Reshiram receive one or is it just the BWR? 159 to 166 should be all URs

Wow. I don't know what to say.

This set is actual garbage. Okay, to be fair there are definitely playable cards in it, but nothing has any "wow" factor. Just a bunch of tech cards and no new flashy archetype.

I guess just wait for Megas as the next big thing.

RIP my beloved ability-locking trashy boi. They did you a huge disservice.
 
I like a few cards in these sets play-wise, but most of them are underwhelming. I don’t think there’s going to be much of a meta impact. I am, however, looking forward to the IRs and SIRs. I play but I am still more of a collector.
