Literally telling you. there are NO men trainers/trainers pokemon in sv which go above 50, not even 100. Only reason they go for over that is because theyre one of the MCs/Legendary Pokemon, not gym leaders, not random sightseers, and definitely not a totally random lady with a parasol and a rainbow. Sun and moon at least had red and blue (and also Lillie and that random sightseer) and now youre telling me theres this surging influx of women trainers and trainers pokemon being the main chase of the set EXCEPT for Glory Of Team Rocket.

Scarlet/Violet: Miriam, Dendra, Penny
Paldea Evolved: Iono
Obsidian Flames: NA (both Geeta and Poppy weren’t that popular, but they got SIRs and Ortega was stuck with a full art)
Paradox Rift: Parasol Lady (this was during release time, it has fallen a bit already)
Paldean Fates: The return of Iono, Nemona and Penny just there
151: Erikas invitation was more popular than Giovannis charisma
Temporal Forces: Biancas devotion outshadowed Morty
Twilight Masquerade: Both Perrin and Carmine, Lana was just there
Shrouded Fable: Casseopia or something (just penny)
Stellar Crown: Lacey (Briar as well)
Surging Sparks: Lislias Appeal over Clemont and Drayton
Prismatic Evolutions: nope all got overshadowed by that sunbreon
Battle Partners: Lillies Clefairy, Ionos bellibolt (props to pokemon for the Ns zoroark though!)
Destined Rivals (Heat Wave): Cynthias Garchomp (Ethans Ho-Oh is around $100 behind and arven…not that popular)
Destined Rivals (Glory of Team Rocket): oh my god finally 4/6 of them have men. Ariana and the Rockets Crobat.
Black Bolt/White Flare: Hilda (they will 1000% do an SIR.)

No, noooo. This set sucks. It has absolutely no worth and should not be attractive to anyone outside of playing the game at all.
Why do we pretend to worry about these cards? They are STAPLES. They have been part of the core mechanics of the game and the gamemakers will never allow these cards to become illegal in Standard.
Don't make these kinds of rulings if you aren't a Judge. The old Noble Victories Elektrik does not have a regulation mark, and the rules are strict as to what Pokémon cards are considered legal in Standard. It would take a specific announcement from Play! Pokémon to declare that Elektrik would be legal to play despite lacking the mark, and that's not something they're gonna go out of their way for.
this is gonna be better than 151 because unlike kanto, unova has actually good pokemon on it
on a more serious note, i'll be honest i think those monochrome cards are kinda ass. the bw ones don't look awful, but i find bw stuff kinda boring by default, in the same way I think bw shinies are boring. and the victini one just looks ugly lol

Professor's research is yet again sticking with the G mark in this set. Unless we get an updated mark in Mega Brave/Symphonia or future set before March 2026 then it's rotating.
IDK if its the static image but I hate that shade of red for Victini. I feel like it should've been a shade of orange since he's more orange than red. But I love the Reshiram and Zekrom cards
