If you read fergaligatr it says "Increased damage done to their active pokemon" so yes it would do 70-90 to the active (90 with power/body) but to benched it would still do 30/50 Benched attacks can never be increased (dark energy, strength charm, solid rage, etc. They all say to their active...

Yeah, Im going to run one with Altaria ex and dont know which to run... I like Salamence better but my freind likes Politoed. I have no switches/warp points etc in my deck, so Punch and Run could help.. but I do think Salamence would be better... hmm

I think I like salamence better...I mean type change would help agianst metanite, he dosent have the electric weak (Poliwag, poliwhirl), hes got fire/fighting resistance... But politoed is awesome to. He can free retreat, 2 for target 30/50, or 120 if they have less HP I dont know which to...
