  • jew, I don't even know what classifies emo, I always figured it wasn't actually a genre, because I never considered emo to be an actual style or culture
jew, yeah but they do other great stuff, look up showbeast on youtube that's how i found it
I'd give mpp like a 9/10 for how good each song is individually, but like an 8/10 for the album as a whole. Still real high, but I give all the other albums like 10s. As much as they're my favorite band, the only ac-related vinyl I have so far are Centipede Hz, Honeycomb/Gotham and Person Pitch.
jew, I highly recommend the song New Town Burnout, it may be my favorite song. Though for now I'm gonna say it's Cuckoo Cuckoo. I love MPP very much, but I think it's oddly overrated.
I'd say it's a tie between Strawberry Jam and Here Comes the Indian, followed closely by Centipede Hz and Sung Tongs
jew, Probably took me 10-20 minutes to carve out two decks, and from there it was just drilling holes in it, putting the trucks on and cutting the grip tape. So overall maybe an hour? And since I got my trucks and wheels from friends, the only thing I had to buy were the hardware and grip tape, so the project ended up costing me seven bucks.
jew, Penny nickel boards are where it's at. My current board is about 25 inches, and it's made out of plywood, and it's violet with an image of pizza on it and it says "juunkmilk" and it has yellow trucks and big sector 9 wheels. It's a great cruiser but a nickel would be better.
jew, I just cruise, 'cause I make my own skateboards for cheap and don't have a way to put tails on them, so I'm limited to shitty kickturns and manuals, but I'm saving up for a glow-in-the-dark nickel board so I can start doing those tricks well, as well as picking up some new stuff. Do you skate?
jew, Yeah you can't really listen to a lot of it at once, I just use it because it's refreshing after days of shuffling through my library of almost all different types of electronica. Plus it's great skateboarding music.
