One Piece really did do it better. You would think the super special new raised foil cards would at least get the respect of having a different pose. They didn’t have to be special arts like the gold cards we got in VSTAR Universe, but it would have been nice for them to have some effort beyond...
They’re talking about the Japanese set I believe.
Also it’s weird Arven is getting ANOTHER SAR. We know Nemona is most likely going to get one here. Perhaps Penny will as well?
Imagine a different timeline where Obsidian Flames/Ruler wasn’t a needlessly Charizard-focused set and *these* promos were used for 3 different versions of the 151 ETB.
I think there’s a very real chance the holo Rares in this set are Cosmos. We’ve already seen the Cosmos energies AND Prize Pack 3 is the first time they’ve mass printed a booster pack product using that Holo paper since HGSS. It would also make sense considering it’s a Gen 1 nostalgia set.
Truly didn’t care about opening this set until I saw the Masterball reverse holos. Also Rares getting reverses is a nice touch too. The subsets from last year with the Pokeball reverse holos are some of my favorites to open.
Very reasonable take and definitely something that people need to keep in mind. Yes scalpers and hoarders suck. But the issue is top down. It starts with the literal corporation that creates the cards and controls pull rates/print runs.
Paldea Evolved has 15 SARs. 5 of them come from Triple Beat. Another 4 are the legendaries. Tink, Squawk, Grusha and Iono bring us to 13. Have they revealed any others?
Unless I’m missing something there’s still two slots left. Those could go to trainers, but we haven’t seen any other trainers...
Oh BOY one of my favorites from SwSh gets an ex, can’t wait to pull the Full Art. Praying this gets an SAR because it got no respect in its own era. Probably not because this set has legendaries but a boi can dream
