Exclusive Larry and Defiance Band Releasing in Chinese “Fiery Black Crystal” Set!

China's next Scarlet & Violet set will be named Fiery Black Crystal and will release on September 12th. It will include cards from 2023's Obsidian Flames and Paradox Rift.

China has been releasing compilation sets since 2022 to catch up with the rest of the world, which sometimes include new illustrations. Their compilation sets started with Sun & Moon. China's cards are printed in Simplified Chinese, while Taiwan and Hong Kong receive Traditional Chinese cards.

Hopefully this means Hassel will get a SAR when China's version of TWM releases. I was quite shocked he and Larry didn't get one considering how well-liked Paldea's E4 are.

ok yeah but give me an example that within like the past few years not like 25 years ago lol, also vivillon there was different pattern for every region its not like only one region did

i more mean like japan always gets exclusive promo cards (that are nice lol) and now china is yet we never get exclusive cards in english, the closest thing to exclusive things we get is stamped cards from gamestop, which is litterely a generic card with a gamestop stamp, not a completely new art of a card.

Unless I'm mistaken, the Kingdra and Greninja SIR promos are technically English exclusives as of right now (idk if they were printed in other languages though, too lazy to check rn). It's almost been a year since they were released, and Japan doesn't have them.
 
English gets plenty of exclusive cards. A lot of our prerelease promos are never released internationally. Then there are things like the Special Delivery cards, Grey Felt Hat Pika, that Oddish promo, the Celebrations promos etc.

The “On The Ball” cards are another selection that come to mind and were exclusive to the UK.

Pretty sure Iono FA and Klara FA from their respective premium tournament collections were internationally exclusive. There is no Japanese or Chinese versions of these cards.

That's literally not true. There are a lot of english exclusive cards.
