I called it. There’s a new Genesect ex and it’s insane. Just one or two Genesect ex replaces 4 Ultra Balls and any other Evolution search for metal decks, and it’s far more consistent than them too. You can just the run full basic search line for max basic consistency in an evolution deck. Archaludon would probably still run ultra ball for energy discard, but Gholdengo, Metang Heatran, and ESPECIALLY Steven’s Metagross get a huge boost from this card

Oh, this Genesect looks great in a Metagross deck! I’m definitely going to play it, but I’m wondering if I should switch from the TM Evo Arven engine to a Rare Candy instead

Oh thats Keldeo normal form thats new. Glad it happened but now Im super convinced Meloetta isnt the pirouette one
Hoping for the SIR to be the blue horned form as I have the GG white horned form for the Dex which looks very nice but only have a standard blue horn form alongside in my Dex album

They really just reprinted Trashalanche on a Tirtouga of all things. I fully doubt it will be any good in this format since Budew is making most decks rely on supporters, but might be relevant in a future format.

This is all quite mid tbh, people saying this'll be good in archaludon, but I dont think so. You need ultra ball to get energy in the discard, and this takes up a bench space and is a liability. Arch wants you to go through big beefy 300hp two prizes. I sadly don't think any of this is gonna see play (at least not rn) there's some really good trainer cards in this set, but are there any good Pokémon that's been revealed so far?

It's really lame how Keldeo was blessed with ONE god-tier, meta changing card and then every other one since than has been worse than fodder. On the other hand....Uh....Call me a Lairon the way I'm eating up metal these days, holy shit that genesect is SO GOOD

that tortuga could combo pretty well with the relicanth that lets you use attacks from previous evolutions and the carracosta from stellar crown(?) that increases damage dealt to your opponents evolved pokemon by 30. still sucks that its a fossil pokemon, and there aren't as many items being played rn as there was previously due to budew, but i still like it
also that archeops is so bad but so fun at the same time, i cant wait to build a deck with it

I don't know if this is ragebait or whatever, but I created a account only to answer to this nonsense. You clearly doesn't know about the game at all, genesect ex, tirtouga (trashalanche) and archeops will DEFINITELY see play
