American and European Store Promotions for “Temporal Forces,” Now Using Galaxy Holofoil?

We’ve learned that starting March 22nd, Gamestop stores will be giving out a Koraidon promo for Temporal Forces. Presumably this means Best Buy stores will be giving out Miraidon.

Both will be reprints from the set. As usual, you’ll have to spend $15 on Pokemon TCG products to receive each promo.

For Europe’s promotion, we’ve already received images of the cards! They will be printed on galaxy holofoil paper, as you can see below. Both will come with Temporal Forces stamps. Europeans will need to spend 20 euros to receive each.

This is the first time we’re seeing these store promos printed on galaxy holofoil. It’s possible this is an indication that the American promos will also be printed on galaxy holofoil. We’ll have to wait for the card images to see, so stay tuned!

Going by precedent, both should be reverse holo. The Koraidon should have a Gamestop stamp and the Miraidon should have a Temporal Forces stamp, as you can see here for Paradox Rift:

Gamestop and Best Buy shopping spree!

I love how Best Buy is struggling to stay relevant.
 
I would assume that the GameStop ones will be cosmic holo as the last promo they gave out for Pokémon day were also the cosmic holo and with the images of Europe’s versions I can’t imagine they’d print just the “American GameStop” ones on a different foil - so fingers crossed because that will RULE if they do this for the rest of SV instead of reverse holos!!

Fun fact in my area of the Northeast States you cannot call a best buy store to ask if they have promos - the calls are all routed through a call service center and at that center they can’t/won’t let you know about promotional stock as it’s not tracked in the system the remote call center can access/track and the are either not allowed or completely unwilling to transfer you to a store to ask if they have the promotion is stock - no stores within 30 miles of me seem to have ever received any promos from any set when I drive to them and speak to the managers - I just wanted the Bulbasuar from 151 and hours and Hours and HOURS of my life were lost to that damn unhelpful and should be bankrupt company - I truly hope they cease existing as a corporation at all soon. I’ve written off all the promos that flow through them because even if I’m buying a single card on the second hand market it means someone gave them business and I would NEVER want to give another single penny the them ? whereas GameStop will answer the phone and let you know about promos within a minute ??

That is Cosmos, not galaxy, Galaxy was the pattern used on English Base, Jungle and Fossil. This site consistently calls cosmos galaxy for some reason.
