‘Pokemon Koko’ Movie Trailer Revealed!

Japanese TV show Oha Suta just aired the first trailer for the next Pokemon film, to be titled Pokemon Koko. It will be the 23rd Pokemon film.

Ash in wearing similar clothes as recent movies like The Power of Us, which means this movie is likely part of the same alternate continuity established in I Choose You.

The trailer shows Ash and Pikachu mesmerized by a Tarzan-esque character swinging through a forest. We see the same shrine from Pokemon 4Ever associated with Celebi and its time travel, followed by a baby lying on the forest floor. The baby has the same turquoise eyes and brown hair as the Tarzan character, suggesting it’s him as a baby.

 

The movie will release in Japanese theaters on July 10th. Its preliminary movie poster was also revealed:
