Wishiwashi-GX, Flareon, Whimiscott, Many Reprints Revealed from ‘TAG All Stars’

As expected, SM12a TAG All Stars will mostly contain reprinted cards from the Sun & Moon era. The official Japanese Pokemon TCG website just revealed several that will be in the set:

There are also some new cards in the set that were revealed here over the past few weeks:

Three new cards were revealed that haven’t been seen before. Thanks goes to Tunu for their translations!

Wishiwashi-GX – Water – HP130
Basic Pokemon

[W][C] Schooling Storm: 20x damage. This attack does 20 damage for each of your Wishiwashi and Wishiwashi-GX in play.

[C] Big Catch GX: Look at the top 12 cards of your deck and put any number of Basic Pokemon you find there onto your Bench. Shuffle the other cards back into your deck. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)

When your Pokemon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Flareon – Fire – HP110
Stage 1 – Evolves from Eevee

Ability: Power Cheer
The attacks of your Pokemon-GX that evolve from Eevee do 30 more damage to your opponent’s Active Pokemon (before applying Weakness and Resistance). You can’t apply more than 1 Power Cheer Ability at a time.

[R][C][C] Flamethrower: 90 damage. Discard an Energy from this Pokemon.

Weakness: Water (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Whimsicott – Fairy – HP70
Stage 1 – Evolves from Cottonee

[Y] Gap Pocket: Choose a card from your hand and put it in the Lost Zone. Then, draw 3 cards.

[C][C] Lost March: 20x damage. This attack does 20 damage for each of your Pokemon in the Lost Zone (excluding Prism Star Pokemon).

Weakness: Metal (x2)
Resistance: Darkness (-20)
Retreat: 0

The set will feature reverse holo Energy cards, as we posted when we first announced the set:

The following items will be sold in Pokemon Center stores upon the release of the set:

Those who purchase 900 yen or more of Pokemon TCG products from participating hobby shops will receive a holo Eevee promo:

[C] Gnaw: 10 damage.

[C][C][C] Juggling Spin: Flip 3 coins. This attack does 30 damage for each heads.

Wishiwashi-GX is super cool. Can hit up to 270 in expanded with only 2 energy, and Aqua Patch to compliment that. (80 + 80 (skyfield) + 80 (Wishiwashi's Ability) + 30). Now, there is a high high chance of your wishiwashi cards being prized, so I dont actually know how good this will be because of not just that, but you also gotta get em out quick too.

Well, the baby Tag Team and Misty/Lorelei are already confirmed to be in Cosmic Eclipse, and the Trev/Dusk Tag as a promo, so it's anyone's guess really.

New attacker? Just run 4 of Whimsicott and put them into the lost zone from your hand. Lost March just added 80 more damage to their list.

Presumably no because they've already revealed the V mechanic to be the new shiny dragon every one chases.

The Wishiwashi actually could be pretty good. 210 HP basic with a 2-cost 180-damage attack when you have all four DRM Wishiwashi out. It could make for some interesting deck archetypes. :D

Considering when it comes out, definitely Mimikyu if you run any sort of chip damage (Shrines, Spell Tag, Giratina).
