Following on our news story earlier today, we now have photos from CoroCoro magazine revealing Reshiram & Charizard-GX, Volcanion, a new Item card called Fire Crystal, and a new Supporter card called Welder!
[R][C] Outrage: 30+ damage. This attack does 10 more damage for each damage counter on this Pokemon.
[R][R][R][C] Flare Strike: 230 damage. This Pokemon can’t use Flare Strike during your next turn.
[R][R][R]+ Double Blaze GX: 200+ damage. If this Pokemon has at least 3 extra [R] Energy attached to it (in addition to this attack’s cost), this attack does 100 more damage and it’s not affected by any effects on your opponent’s Active Pokemon. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
When your TAG TEAM is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards.
Weakness: Water (x2)
[R] Flare Starter: Search your deck for a Fire Energy card, reveal it, and attach it to 1 of your Pokemon. Then, shuffle your deck. If you’re the player going second, on your first turn you may search your deck for up to 3 Fire Energy cards instead and attach them to your Pokemon in any way you like.
[R][R] High Heat Blow 50+ damage. If 4 or more Fire Energy are attached to your Pokemon in play, this attack does 60 more damage.
Weakness: Water (x2)
Put 3 Fire Energy cards from your discard pile into your hand.
You may play as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).
Attach up to 2 Fire Energy cards from your hand to 1 of your Pokemon. If you do, draw 3 cards.
You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn (before your attack).
Double Blaze will release in Japan on March 1st and will be the tenth main Sun & Moon set. It’ll feature 95 cards (excluding secret rares). The set will become part of our Unbroken Bonds set in May. Thanks goes to tunu for the translations!
