‘Brock and Misty Trainer Battle Decks’ Cards and Translations!

The official Pokemon Card website has revealed the contents of the upcoming “Trainer Battle Deck: Brock of Pewter City Gym” and “Trainer Battle Deck: Misty of Cerulean City Gym.” They will release in Japan on January 25th.

Translations for brand new cards are below. The rest are reprints. Thanks goes to staff member tunu for the translations!

Brock Deck

Rhydon from Burning Shadows, Pokémon Center Lady from Flashfire, and Brock's Grit from Evolutions get new alternate art prints.

Geodude – Fighting – HP70
Basic Pokemon

[C] Tackle: 10 damage.

Weakness: Grass (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2


Graveler – Fighting – HP100
Stage 1 – Evolves from Geodude

[C][C] Tackle: 30 damage.

[F][F][C][C] Mudslide: Discard 2 [F] Energy from this Pokemon. This attack does 80 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon. (Don’t apply Weakness or Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)

Retreat: 3


Golem – Fighting – HP170
Stage 2 – Evolves from Graveler

[F][C][C] Rock Slide: 60 damage. This attack does 20 damage to 3 of your opponent’s Benched Pokemon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)

[F][F][C][C] Land Crush: 140 damage.

Weakness: Grass (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 4


Onix-GX – Fighting – HP200
Basic Pokemon

[F] Bind: 30 damage. Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent’s Active Pokemon is now Paralyzed.

[F][C][C][C][C] Heavy Impact: 150 damage.

[F][C][C][C][C] Avalanche Rock GX: 200 damage. During your opponent’s next turn, this Pokemon takes 100 less damage from attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance). (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game)

When your Pokemon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Brock’s Training – Trainer
Supporter

Attach an Energy card from your hand to 1 of your Geodude, Graveler, Golem, Onix-GX, Cubone, Rhyhorn, Rhydon, or Sudowoodo.

You may only play 1 Supporter card  during your turn (before you attack).


Brock’s Pewter City Gym – Trainer
Stadium

Onix-GX (both yours and your opponent’s) take 40 less damage from the opponent’s attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance).

This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can’t play this card.

Misty Deck

Misty's Determination from BREAKpoint gets a new alternate art print. (Also, I love the bike reference to anime Misty.)

Starmie-GX – Water – HP190
Stage 1 – Evolves from Staryu

[W] Star Stream: 40 damage. Attach 2 [W] Energy cards from your discard pile to 1 of your Pokemon.

[C][C][C] Spinning Attack: 100 damage.

[C] Hydro Pump GX: 40+ damage. This attack does 40 more damage for each [W] Energy attached to this Pokemon. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game).

When your Pokemon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

[W] Confuse Ray: Your opponent’s Active Pokemon is now Confused.

Misty’s Water Manipulation – Trainer
Supporter

Move any number of [W] Energy from your Pokemon to your Psyduck, Horsea, Staryu, Starmie-GX, Magikarp, Gyarados, or Lapras in any way you like.

You may only play 1 Supporter card  during your turn (before you attack).


Misty’s Cerulean City Gym – Trainer
Stadium

Starmie-GX (both yours and your opponent’s) does 40 more damage to the opponent’s Active Pokemon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can’t play this card.
