Several ‘Shining Legends’ Cards Revealed!

The official Pokemon Card website has posted photos of cards from Shining Legends! The set will be released in Japan on June 15th and in America on October 6th. In Japan, it will contain at least 72 cards.

The photos confirm several new cards that will be in the set: Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Shroomish, Breloom, Larvesta, Volcarona, Litten, Torracat, Incineroar, Qwilfish, Palkia, Keldeo, Raikou, Voltorb, Electrode, Pikachu, Raichu-GX, Plusle, Ekans, Arbok, Jynx, Scraggy, Scrafty, Zorua, Zoroark, Hoopa, Purrloin, Liepard, Spiritomb, Super Scoop Up, Double Colorless Energy, and Warp Energy.

Warp Energy was last seen in 2008’s Stormfront set and was originally printed in 2002’s Aquapolis.

It’s a little odd they’re printing a Raichu-GX but no Alolan Raichu-GX yet… maybe they’re saving it for a starring position in a main set.

The photos also show what the Shining Pokemon cards will look like in real life. It appears they will be printed on the Delta Species holofoil paper, but with a lined texture over the Pokemon. Shining Pokemon will also have a special blue symbol next to their card number.

The website also released clear images of several new cards. Thanks goes to Rhonda D., Vincent, and Franco T. for the translations!
