‘Guardians Rising’ Set Information: Kommo-o-GX, Metagross-GX, and More!
We now have the first information about Guardians Rising, our second Sun & Moon set which will be released on May 5th!
There will be over 140 cards, which means the set will mix together Japan’s upcoming SM2 sets and SM1+ mini-set.
There will be 12 new Pokemon-GX, including Tapu Koko-GX, Tapu Lele-GX, Kommo-o-GX, Lycanroc-GX (Midnight Forme), Metagross-GX, Sylveon-GX, Toxapex-GX, and Vikavolt-GX. We may also get Tapu Bulu-GX and Tapu Fini-GX, though this is uncertain. There will also be 12 full-art Pokemon-GX (excluding secret rares).
This information thus reveals that Japan’s SM2 set, releasing on March 13th, will feature Tapu Koko-GX, Tapu Lele-GX, Kommo-o-GX, Lycanroc-GX, and Metagross-GX.
The set will also feature three full art Supporter cards: Kahuna Hala, Captain Mallow, and Hau. The first two will likely be featured in Japan’s SM2 set.
