Nintendo 3DS’s American Release Date and Price!

Nintendo held a press conference in New York today where they announced that the 3DS will be released in the United States on Sunday, March 27th for $249.99. In Japan the console costs 25,000 yen, or about $300, but it will be released earlier on February 26th. Nintendo also announced that more than 30 3DS titles will be released between the console’s March launch and June. The 3DS, as its name implies, is the next Nintendo DS and features 3D graphics without the typical need for glasses. It will come in two colors upon release: Obsidian Black and Aqua Blue.
