‘Arceus and the Jewel of Life’ DVD Release Date Finally Announced!

After months of silence, Arceus and the Jewel of Life has finally been announced for a February 1st DVD release. The movie’s theatrical run began on July 18th, 2009 in Japan and aired on Cartoon Network November 20th of the same year. This will be the longest release between the Japanese airing of a Pokemon movie and its English release – 19 months! Ironic since the movie was dubbed into English only a few months after its Japanese premiere and in the shortest amount of time for any Pokemon movie ever. The DVD will retail for $18.95 and will be released by Viz Media. In 2011, Zoroark: Ruler of Illusions, the thirteenth Pokemon movie, will premiere in the United States.
