Burger King Promos and Accessories
I think I’m going to throw upppp… I can’t believe I ever ate this junk (substitute that last word with whatever you want). I risk my health for news stories like this!
Burger King and Pokemon announced last month that they would enter a partnership to release 12 promo cards and TCG accessories to customers who purchase a kid’s meal starting July 7th. Many Burger Kings have already started to release the cards and accessories, but officially, the campaign will start tomorrow.
All of the promo cards are reprints of existing cards and are reverse holographic. However, they have a “Diamond and Pearl” set symbol image in the lower right-hand corner of the card art. You can view the card list below. The images are provided by Quatra.
In addition to one of the cards above, you are entitled to one of the following accessories:
- 60-Card Deck Box Holder: Darkrai, Dialga, Palkia, Manaphy
- Card Display Frame: Pikachu, Mantyke
- Hand Holders: Pikachu, Piplup, Turtwig, Chimchar, Pachirisu, Happiny
Word of advice: Don’t kill your health by trying to get all of these accessories and cards. This partnership with Burger King was a great way to introduce children to the card game, but I think a healthier fast food place would have been better (is that an oxymoron?). Force us to go somewhere like Subway, or the produce area at Albertsons, or something!
