If Ash gets his Z-move, will he carry it to the next region since he takes Pikachu with him?

My first spoiler tag, lol. Anyway I kind of doubt though that Ash would keep it outside of Alola. It's like mega evolution last generation where it was around a lot but Ash never got one, even a one time one for Heracross or Glalie.
But yes only the writers will know for sure, and even that will only be eventually because I doubt as of right now at the very start they can say.
