So what are some of the biggest problems with a HGSS-On game?
*Lack of inconsistent draw power
*Lack of energy resources to attack consistently
*Apparently there is fire and fighting everywhere
*Retreat has become more difficult
*Difficulty building up and attacking with Stage 2's

This deck most heavily addresses the issues of retreat and energy allocation. Metagross grants free retreat to anything with a psychic energy attached, and Mismagius can move psychic energies. Thus allowing for an easy to use Smeargle.

Cards such as Emboar, Magnezone, Gengar, and Donphan are all going to exist in the format, and with the use of Jirachi, it is possible to get around their high HP and devolve them. Jirachi also brings back discarded energy, keeping a possible string of Metagrosses attacking, building up damage on the bench, slowly but surely.

Yes the deck does have issues with Serperior, as well as issues with very powerful basic Pokemon, but the deck should be able to work around these threats.

if you want to block seperior, add 2 solrock and 2 lunatone from TR. for powerfull basics, pideot TR. thats wat i say

Lunatone and Solrock aren't good cards, IMO. Wasting two Bench spaces isn't worth it.

if you have an issue with serperior, throw a reshiram or two in there. they're basics, so they're easily found with collector, and the outrage attack is colorlesscolorless so you don't even need to bother with fire energy. yeah serperior heals, but it hits light so reshiram will capitalize on the damage it take (while still easily living) and doubling up thanks to serperior's weakness.

just 1 or 2 in the deck would work. doesn't use up room and you could just bring them out when fighting a grass deck. they're good for tanking too if you're in a bit of trouble mid-game.

-1 petm
+ pokemon communication

Have found 3/3 to be a lot less effective than 2/4
You mentioned difficulty with big basics. Maybe take out a few junk arm (4 is a lot) and a super scoop up and make room for a zoroark line with special dark to ohko them

So you are supposed to do 60 per turn, hum? That is not really good. If your goal is snipping, I am guessing that it will work.

And your Seperior thread, I definitively agree with Ghost Bear. It is very good tech if you have extreme problems against it (which you do).

No, he's spreading with Metagross. 40 damage to two of your opponent's Pokemon.
