Which Booster Box to Purchase?

Hello

I would like to purchase a booster box (never bought a booster box before) and dont know what set to buy. There are like 40 sets now (I only have base, jungle, fossil and some team rockets cards. So I'am way behind.
So any recommedations which sets to get (and why) and which sets to avoid.

I dont live in the USA so I need to pay the shipping about $30+. One last thing which online store to buy from? trustworthy ones.

It really depends on what you're using the cards for. Are you just collecting? I'd figure that any set is good in that case. If you're collecting, I would stay away from the sets that are currently tournament-legal, because these will run you more money.

If you're playing the card game, you need to buy Diamond and Pearl or newer in order to have tournament legal cards.

if you plan i playing the game, i guess RR, SF, and PL are the best sets

but you'll need claydol GE and Uxie LA, but their worth about $20+ apiece (i think) but they'll drop in value soon
