Can anyone tell me what this is? My brother had me post this on ebay and I have been told alot of different things, but so far I am still unable to find it anywhere else

Was it one of those 15-card boosters of assorted cards? Because I think there was a thread on that a while back that concluded that those boosters sometimes do contain fake cards.

I am not sure, my brother is at school but I will ask later. Do you know where I can read that thread? Also, how is a fake card put in a pack? On top of that, how does one spot a fake? I know, alot of questions lol.

It's a fake card, as is said before. A good way to look for fakes is seeing if anything looks "off" about the card. If it doesn't look normal, it's probably a fake. A lot I've seen have either the font not just right, the energy symbols for the attacks are not in the right place or just a little off, or it's "misprinted" but you've never heard of the misprint before. I assure you, there is no one of a kind misprint. Even Prerelease Raichu had like 8 of them or whatever, and that's the rarest and most expensive card in existence. Compare that card to the actual Charmeleon from that set and I bet you it will look different, other than just the name.

No, people sell you packs of only fake cards. This, however, is a fake. I remember reading up about how they made a fake one's like that. That is, I remember, I'm not sure.

But apparently there's one with Vulpix as what it evolves from on some of them |D
 
It was bought in Walmart. So, the whole pack was fake?

I am on another forum as well to try to come up with an answer, and there seems to be another misprint type of this card.
