The basic strategy is to set up vaniluxe to paralyze and trainer lock with vileplume so they can't switch. The SEL helps against both Reshi and Cobalion. Any suggestions?

I would max out pokemon communications or at least add one more. I would take out a combination of two cards from N PONT or Juniper. Eight hand refreshers is kind of a lot.

SEL is unneeded. You want to keep the paralyze lock the entire game. Also, you only want 2-3 candies because once vileplume is out, they are dead draws
