Ruling Using Reprints Obtained in a Prerelease

Probably a dumb question but I got a tiermo, Shauna, and a Professor sycamore FA in the steam Siege packs from pre release, an I allowed to use them in standard/expanded play or do I have to wait?

Reprints are a exception to the rule /as long as/ they're still in format. Since they're playable already, you can use it as soon as you open the pack.

If a card is an exact reprint of one that is already legal in Standard or Expanded, then it can be used in sanctioned play before the set's legal date. In this case, all of the cards you named are already in the current XY-on Standard format, as well as Black and White-on Expanded, so you can use them. The only thing to keep in mind is if a card that's currently legal in Expanded but not Standard is reprinted, you can't use it in Standard until the set is legal.
