After PMJ stopped Ready Aim Fire, I've got a small social experiment game for you bored peeps. If anyone in staff doesn't see enough value in this thread, I won't object to this being locked, but I still ask for a single round to at least see how people respond. Anyway, rules:
  • Each round will consist of twenty people, first come first serve.
  • Once signups close, you have 48 hours to PM me a number between 1 and 5, inclusive. You are allowed to PM me this number during signups if you have already signed up.
  • After 48 hours or all of the submissions are in (whichever happens first), your number is compared to the person that signed up before you (If you're the first person that signed up, then your number is compared to the person that last signed up).
  • If your number matches with the compared number, you get no points.
  • If your number does not match with the compared number, you get points equal to the amount of the larger number of your number and the compared number. (Example, if you picked two, and the person that signed up before you picked four, then you get four points, because the larger number of two and four is four.)
  • If you do not send me a number in the 48 hour span, then you will be incurred a 5 point penalty and the game calculates points as if you never signed (if the person that signed up before you didn't provide a number, you are compared with the previous person).
  • Getting below -10 points total results in an inactivity ban.
  • Flareon is best Eeveelution
  • Game goes on until I get bored of it or I get enough information from you people.

Boddy dares to dream, and he gets the max 5 points.
Afro-G tried to do the same, but his mind fizzed out at the end; no points for him.

venasour x went the LOWEST, doulbing his 1 to get 2 points

Chillarmy is an unoriginal 3 player. 4 points for him anyway.
AoH takes the lead with a whopping 5 points.

Jay's not only slacking on his IRC WereWolf hosting. -5 points

Newcomer Bippa got a solid start; 4 points.
TheGuy has thrown down a 5 for the 4th time. It worked once more; 5 points.

Mokoko tripped over the placed 4; 0 points.
Boddy might have noticed how Mokoko never played a 5 or got lucky; either way, he got 5 points.
Newcomer Pikhu2000 pulled a Nengeni/Argetlam; 5 points to him as well.
Chillarmy thought that this 5 -> 2 -> 4 was a fun pattern, so Round 4 will see it for a second time; 4 points.
Teegrun got strike three; he's out. Arbitrary ban placed on him.
Lucky Fire ended with 4 points.

RE: Up To Five

so can we just post forum games now or what

I suppose if the mods are cool with it, then I'll sign up, as long as I'm not the one calculating my scores; I lose track of that stuff pretty easily.

RE: Up To Five

I would appreciate in the future if anyone is interested in hosting a game that they run it through me first.

But this is pretty similar to Ready Aim Fire so I approve

sign me up bro

Of course I'll be pulling all of the calculations. I'm not that lazy in hosting a game.

RE: Up To Five

I'm in.

But I'm curious as to what you mean by social experiment.

RE: Up To Five

Seems like an easy concept. May as well give it a try, count me in.
