So I thought I was gonna be able to build this deck on TCG One and start testing it, but Tyrantrum-EX isn't up yet. Does anyone know when Tyrantrum-EX will be on TCG One? Any way, here's my deck list for Tyrantrum-EX.
Pokemon: 17
Trainers: 31
Energy: 12
Strategy:
Set up Bronzong and Tyrantrum-EX as soon as possible. I use Hydreigon-EX as a switching mechanism so I can switch between Tyrantrum-EX's and stream Dragon Impacts. I run 3 of them for a few reasons. It increases my chance of getting it early, while lowering the chances of a crucial part of my strategy being prized. Also Hydreigon-EX is a secondary attacker for me against Stage 1 decks. It is just more efficient against lower HP Pokemon than Tyrantrum-EX. Aegislash-EX becomes my main attacker against Stage 1 decks (if they rely on special energies), and acts as a wall/attacker against EX decks that use special energies. Manectric-EX is there to help out against Mega EX's. The snipe damage from Overrun can either set up OHKO's or snipe badly damaged EX's on the bench. It also acts as a damage sponge early in the game so Tyrantrum-EX can set up relatively safe on the bench. I run 2 Fighting energy so Tyrantrum-EX can set up against Giratina-EX. Aegislash-EX would do a good job of countering Giratina-EX, but Tyrantrum-EX also takes OHKO's against Giratina-EX. A few tweaks that I was thinking about was adding maybe a Rainbow Energy so Manectric-EX can use Assault Laser. Its another option against Stage 1's, as well as being a tech against M Rayquaza-EX. Another would be adding a Faded Town to further improve my odds against Mega EX decks. Also I was thinking about maybe adding more draw support. I do not wanna spend a lot of money on Shaymin-EX though. So any changes to draw would have to be item or supporter based.
What do you guys think? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
