    1 Lysandre
    1 Pokémon Center Lady

    2 Muscle Band
    3 Hard Charm
    2 Jamming Net

    3 Rare Candy
    2 Ultra Ball
    3 VS Seeker
    2 Super Potion
    1 Energy Retrieval
    1 Switch

    3 Training Center
Energy: 6

  • 6 Darkness Energy

Strategy:
Basically, Set up the Liepard as fast as possible, and use gentle bite, which does 10 and reduces attacks to it by 60. Depending on the situation, hard charm can be used to increase reduction to 80 or muscle band can be used to do more than 10 damage (no need to reduce by more than 60 against seismitoad). Next, set up Rhyperiors with Korrina to get rare candies, and they reduce everything by an additional 10 as an ability. They cannot be Lysandred because they have ancient trait. Jamming Net is to reduce damage from opponent's EX's. Training Center is for added bulkiness, but shadow circle also works there. When completely set up, Turbo Bolt does 0 damage, Liepard survives megaton slam with 10 HP, yveltal with jamming net needs 6 energy to do 20 damage, seismitoad does 0, flareon needs 11 pokémon in the discard to do 10, raichu does 0, beartic does 0, exeggcutor does 0. Primal Kyogre does 20 (0 with jamming net). With shadow circle, Liepard survives primal groudon with 20 HP. Pokemon center lady is to get rid of special conditions like laser, and super potion is just a quick heal of 60, but max potion would work there too. The difference is if you are mach clawing for a knockout or something then you would discard one energy instead of two. This deck has problems against genesect, since G Booster goes through all the defense, and no megaphone.

RE: Super Defense Deck!

Your strategy is rendered null by retreating or otherwise moving to the Bench. Gentle Bite's damage reduction only affects the Pokemon you hit with it, and that effect goes away when the Pokemon is no longer active.

You will also never in a million years get four Rhyperior into play.

RE: Super Defense Deck!

Good point on the retreating problem. I don't know what to take out, but Hypnotoxic Laser + Dragalge could fix that problem.

As for the Rhyperiors, I agree that getting four out will take time, but it really isn't too hard to get out 2 or 3, because of Korrina. She's the reason that Primal Groudon works; you can search for spirit link and Primal groudon with a regular groudon already on the bench. It's the same for the Rhyperior except you get rare candy instead of spirit link. Perhaps adding a third Korrina would help with that.

Doing that would make this deck clunkier than it already is. The situation you describe where Liepard becomes an invincible tank is the perfect setup of perfect setups that will never, ever happen in a real game because your opponent isn't going to just let you set up.
